This week we had what the children enthusiastically declared to be "the best science lesson ever"!  This half term we are learning about rocks and this week's objective was to group rocks by their properties. We had a brilliant time completing a carousel of rock activities and turning our classroom into a rock museum. We had lots of different and wonderful rocks out to explore with the magnifying glasses that we could draw, a rock wordsearch and books to learn lots of cool new facts. The main event was investigating different rocks and using sandpaper and water to test their durability, permeability and density.
