Week 3

In gymnastics, we have been learning about balances and jumps. We looked at the basic shapes: star, straddle pike, dish, tuck, back support, front support and arch. We talked about making balances with tension and holding our shapes for 5 seconds. 

We have been learning to jump safely (with bent knees) and used some of these shapes to make our jumps more interesting (straight, tuck and star). We made our own sequences using two jumps and two balances.
