The Happy Hedgehogs have continued to think about the story We're Going On A Bear Hunt by Micheal Rosen and have made their own sequenced and labelled story map. We have also been reading about a girl called Handa who lives in Africa and compared it to our village life in Willington. We enjoyed looking at images of our village and talking about what we know about the different local places. We have continued to consolidate our knowledge of all Phase 3 digraphs and trigraphs during phonics lessons and have been using our maths dice and track games to play collaboratively.

We read about a dragon called Marmaduke and learnt about making good friendships during our PSHE lesson. We have been considering how we are all different and unique and have been receiving 'Golden Hearts of Kindness' for showing each other kindness, thought and empathy. The book 'Freddie and the Fairy' by J. Donaldson has helped us consider how we can help others who may find hearing difficult.
