This week, Year 6 have completed and published their powerful letters on deforestation and climate change. They are now preparing to send them to a range of companies to encourage them to reduce or stop their use of palm oil.

In Maths, the children have continued their work on algebra. They have shown great determination and perseverance, even when tackling some challenging two‑ and three‑step problems.

We have also begun our new History topic for this half term. The class revisited key facts about the Victorian era and successfully sequenced important events from the period.

In Art, the children have started designing their new pieces inspired by the paintings of Paul Nash.
