What an incredible week it’s been! The children were absolutely thrilled to watch Greg James complete his Red Nose Day challenge—the Longest Ride—and their excitement was infectious!

In English, we have been revisiting key grammar concepts, including the simple and progressive tenses, the use of relative clauses and their accompanying punctuation, as well as identifying and understanding different word classes.

In maths, the children have explored how to calculate angles in a range of 2D shapes, learned how to find the diameter and radius of a circle, and begun working with coordinates.

In science, the class has been investigating micro-organisms and has started an experiment to observe how quickly mould grows on bread. Another busy week!
