Week 6

This week, our Year 6 pupils took part in Art Week, led by different teachers and exploring a variety of creative themes and techniques.

The children had the opportunity to experience sound art with Miss Shepherd as well as then drawing detailed Spitfire sketches with Mr Grant. In addition, pupils also created sea wildlife collages to highlight the issue of plastic pollution, using a range of materials to send a powerful message about protecting our planet. They also completed a fun and imaginative ‘Fruit Twist’ painting with Mrs Robinson!

It has been wonderful to see the enthusiasm, creativity and effort from all pupils throughout the week. Their finished work is something they can be incredibly proud of, and we were delighted to showcase their artwork around the school. Thank you coming to visit our Year 6 art gallery.

A huge well done to all of Year 6 for their fantastic contributions!
