The Super Squirrels have enjoyed being back at school this week after their half term break.

They have enjoyed their first time using their bows on their violins, and took their violins home for the first time to practise with them in front of their families.

The children have also been learning about the inverse method in their maths lessons.  They used bar models to show how four different calculations can be represented from one bar model.

In English, the children have begun a unit of work based around the text 'The Secret of Black Rock'.  They used this book as a starting point to develop their understanding of proper nouns, common nouns and adjectives, before moving on to learning about expanded noun phrases.
