Week 6 - Safer Internet Day 2026
This week was Safer Internet Day 2026, and we took part in a range of activities to help us think carefully about how to use the internet responsibly. We watched the BBC Live Lesson all about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and discussed what AI is, how it works, and the different ways it can be used in everyday life. We also talked about the reliability of information created by AI and the important rules we must follow to stay safe and make sensible choices when using technology. We enjoyed singing their song about everything we'd learnt.
As part of the lesson, we explored how to set up a simple chatbot designed to behave like a vulture. To finish, we had a go at drawing our own vultures, which we then used to create logo designs linked to our chatbot activity. It was a fun and creative way to think about digital safety and the future of technology!
