This week, the Fantastic Foxes have started a new English unit, based on The Highway Rat by Julia Donaldson. We are already coming up with such great ideas on how we can help the Highway Rat write an apology letter to the animals that he has upset. We have enjoyed some drama work to help us understand the text in more depth.

In Phonics, we have started learning about 'split vowel digraphs'. This is usually an area that children find tricky initially, so it would greatly benefit the Fantastic Foxes to read the weekly sheet that is sent home on Friday to help them practise these new skills.
