This week, the children drafted and published their persuasive speeches aimed at recruiting men to join the army during the First World War, and they were excellent. 

In maths, the children learned how to multiply fractions and divide them by whole numbers. By the end of the week, they felt confident using both methods and were applying their understanding to reasoning and problem-solving tasks.

We have started our new Geography topic on Biomes and Climate Zones, and the children were investigating where climate zones are located around the world.
