Year 6 had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day! The children arrived with a wonderful range of books and imaginative props that really brought their chosen stories to life. The children enjoyed sharing why they chose their particular book, what their prop represented, and why they would recommend their book to others. 

On Friday afternoon,  Year 6 visited Year 1, where they spent time reading their books to the younger children. It was a lovely moment of teamwork and role‑modelling, with the Year 1 pupils thoroughly enjoying the chance to listen to stories read aloud by the older children. The room was filled with enthusiasm, smiles, and a shared love of reading!
