This week, we were very fortunate to have Russell Swain from Rolls Royce visit us in class for a STEM afternoon. We learnt lots about the job of an engineer and the different roles at Rolls Royce. We spent the afternoon making batteries out of potatoes and measured the different voltages produced by a different amount of potatoes - so much so that they can like an LED with the right circuit equipment! It was a fantastic afternoon filled with learning and fun! Thank you Russell!
