This week, we started our new DT unit linked to our Science topic, Electricity. The children have been tasked to make a paper circuit Christmas card using all of the learning they have built in lessons. We learnt more about LED's and were introduced to copper tape as a conductive, lightweight and adhesive alternative to wires. Later on in the week, we had a go at making switches using copper tape and various items (including paper clips and push button switches) to investigate which would be best for our final products.
