We have been learning about sound in science and this week, we made string telephones! The experiment helped demonstrate how sound waves travel through solids as vibrations from a person's voice travels from one cup, along the string, and is converted back into sound waves in the other cup. We also enjoyed using a tuning fork to see the vibrations in a bowl of water!
