On Thursday, we had a very exciting visit from Dr Ian Parker Heath, an archaeologist. The day started learning about the job of an archaeologist, what artefacts can tell us and then made a timeline of key events in British history. 

We then got to be real life archaeologists and dig up artefacts from the Anglo-Saxon and Viking era. After we dug them up, we created our own museum with information about each artefacts.
