At the age of 11+ children transfer to the local secondary school chosen by their parents. This is no longer automatically the school in whose catchment area you live. The majority of Year 6 Pupils from Willington Primary School move on to attend John Port Spencer Academy at Etwall. We have strong links with John Port Spencer Academy and their staff visit regularly during Year 6 to prepare children for their transition.
