In science this week, we have been learning about life cycles as part of our 'Animals, Including Humans' topic. Last week, we talked about animals and their offspring and how some offspring look the same as the adult (like dogs and cats) and that others look very different (like butterflies, ladybirds and frogs). This week, we enjoyed reading a story called 'Tadpole's Promise' where a caterpillar falls in love with a tadpole and is upset when the tadpole changes over time. We looked at the life cycles of different animals and then worked with a partner to draw and discuss life cycles of animals that we like:

We also enjoyed sharing our Learning Log homework with our friends. Miss Pritchard, Mrs Chapman and Mrs Spencer Lovesey were amazed by the effort shown by so many children. It was really, really, really difficult to select a winner this half term!
