The children returned after their Easter break this week and have been working really hard with their English work.  They watched the animation 'The Piano' and used their prediction and inference skills to discuss the content of the film.  Following this, the children began to plan and then write a flashback narrative of the film, using strong use of vocabulary.  The children will continue to write these next week.

In PSHE, the children have begun to learn a topic called 'Money Matters'.  This week, they learnt about different types of bank account and how increased amounts of interest is added to deposits if the money is kept in the bank account for a long time.
