The children really enjoyed taking part in 'Take One Book Week' this week.  Using the book 'I Want A Dog', the class wrote their own play scripts and then acted these out really well in front of the rest of the class.  Despite initial nerves, the children found this great fun and are now looking forward to taking part in the End of Year 6 Production in July.  To end the week, the children wrote their own page from the book, creating a new story called 'I Want A Deer'.  These will be on display in the library from next week.

In PE, the children began their dance unit.  They used a motif in their sequences to choreograph a dance around the theme of clocks.  Their contemporary dance was performed to music and all the class worked really hard to ensure they used different heights and dynamics throughout.  The children will complete their dance next week, before moving onto the theme of 1970's disco dancing. The children also continued their outdoor and adventurous education work involving problem solving and working as a team.
