This week, the children continued with their work on 'The Piano' animation. They used precise vocabulary and varied sentence types to develop high-quality examples of narrative writing.  The children enjoyed including flashbacks and pathetic fallacies to develop their stories too.

As part of their revision work in arithmetic, the children carried out a treasure hunt around the playground.  In pairs, the children had to answer arithmetic questions to find an answer and then collect letters which formed a hidden phrase.  The children particularly enjoyed this lesson and found that they have learnt a lot of arithmetic over the past year!
