This week, we have ended our topic on the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings by learning about how the Vikings travelled to Britain and what made them such good warriors. This strengthened our knowledge categories of conflict and exploration. We looked at examples of Viking longships and what made them much better than other ships at the time (they could travel in both directions!) and had a go at drawing one. Here's some of examples:
