In history (and shared reading), we have been learning more about life in Roman Britain and how the actions of the Romans who invaded have had an impact on our lives today. This week, we learnt about different artefacts that teach us about what life was like for those who lived in Roman Britain. We worked in pairs to find out more about an artefact and then moved around different pairs, teaching each other about our artefacts. We learnt about sandals, swords, coins, shields, metal jackets and helmets.
