Week 4

In PSHE, we have been 'Exploring Emotions'. This week, we learnt how to do a body scan and recognise how our bodies are feeling. We thought about parts that are relaxed, tight, tense and sore. We thought about ways that we can reduce tension and practised some different deep breathing exercises.

We looked at a scenario where someone wanted to go into a deserted house but was too scared. We thought about:

• What were they feeling?

• In what way was it uncomfortable?

• What was this feeling telling them?

• What could they do next?

We were given a scenario about a friend being bullied and thought about the same questions. We wrote some advice for our friend on how they could deal with their sadness.
