This week, we have started our new English unit, a poetry unit based on Michael Rosen's poem 'Chocolate Cake'. Miss Pritchard had been kindly given a chocolate cake to share with the teachers at lunch time. Whilst popping out of the room, Mrs Greenwell helped herself to a slice. The children were quick to inform Miss Pritchard of what had happened (displaying our value of honesty in abundance) and Mrs Greenwell was quickly sent to wash her "dirty, sticky face". It was great fun to watch Michael's poem come to life before our eyes in school!
