This week the Fantastic Foxes have been continuing to consolidate their phonics learning. Over the coming weeks, we will continue to recap prior learning, ready for the phonics screening check in June. Please continue to read as often as possible with your child in preparation for this. This could be their reading book, the weekly sheets and also reading signs/posters while you are out and about. A particular area to focus on are the split vowel digraphs, as some words will definitely include these and they are generally the aspect of phonics that children find the most difficult, as they are so different to the rest of the phonics they learn.
