Week 3
In Maths this week the Marvellous Mice have been continuing their work on Place Value. The children have been writing different number sentences to show the relationships between the numbers in part-part-whole diagrams. They showed super understanding! The children have also done excellent counting in tens and used their knowledge of multiples of 10 to complete number lines.
In PSHE we have been thinking about how we might feel when we get poorly and what we can do to stop germs spreading.
In Geography the children demonstrated excellent retrieval skills, recalling the types of resources we can use to support our knowledge of Geography - globes, maps, atlases and satellite images. We all enjoyed looking at a map of the local area and finding Willington Primary School. Some of the children also spotted the roads they live on!
