Week 4

This week we have been very busy creating Christmas cards which we will send away to be printed. The children used their painting skills and recalled the pointillism technique which they learnt about in Year 1. You can see a few of the wonderful pieces of art below.

 

Christmas Card Designs

We have learnt the story of The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark using our simple text map and put actions to the story. The children made changes to their own version of the text map, replacing Plop the baby owl with other nocturnal animals which they named. We are now ready to write own own story!
