Art
As part of our unit of work on Surrealism, we have been learning about automatism in art. This is where you draw, paint and create art without thinking about it - using the subconscious part of your mind.
We used this technique to create our Christmas cards. We created automatistic backgrounds, using straight lines, then painted each section. We then added stars and outlined in black for effect.
We hope that you will order your child's Christmas cards to send out to friends and family this year - we think they will look amazing and have worked so hard on them this week.
