We have been very, very busy during our reading lessons this week! Firstly, we started the week completing our first ever published piece. We have been writing our own instructions for a marvellous medicine and wrote them up in best to create our own recipe book. Later in the week, we enjoyed listening to our new text, The Fate of Fausto by Oliver Jeffers. We are going to be writing our own fables and ended the week learning our model text with Widgits and actions. We also thought about whether Fausto is a guilty or innocent man. We made two teams and thought about what we would say to Fausto to support or oppose him. We made a conscience alley and offered him our advice.
In computing, we have been inventing our own devices in pairs to consolidate our learning about inputs and outputs. We really wanted to share these so that our families could see our great ideas.
