Weeks 1 and 2
What a fantastic start we have had to Year 3!
We have really enjoyed listening to the start of the story for our first writing unit: George's Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl. We are going to be writing some instructions for our own marvellous medicine, building on the skills that we learnt last year.
We have been learning a model example of some instructions and picking out the features of an instruction text.
To end the week, we celebrated Roald Day on what would have been his 108th birthday. We learnt about his life and were amazed that he used to go to Repton School.
