Another busy one! We started our new geography topic which is called the 'Pacific Ring of Fire'. We thought about what would happen if we started digging a hole and just kept digging and learnt about the 4 layers that make up the Earth - the crust, the mantle, the outer core and the inner core. We also found out that the crust is not one solid piece but lots of pieces that cover the Earth called 'tectonic plates'. We will be learning more about these over the next couple of weeks!
