Week 4
This half term in art we have been focussing on the artist L.S. Lowry. We have learnt all about his style of work, the limited colours he used in his paintings and the matchstick figures too. This week we have put all this together and are creating our own industrial landscape in Lowry’s style. We have sketched and painted and next week we will add the matchstick people in charcoal. The children have worked so hard and we can’t wait to see the finished pieces!
