Transition activities for you to complete for your new teacher, Mrs Maynard
Please feel free to adapt these ideas or to create your own picture or piece of work which tells us something about you. We can’t wait to see what you come up with! It would be fabulous if you could drop your work into school before the end of term so that we can get busy displaying it ready for our return in September - you could even drop it in for us when you collect your report. Enjoy!
Home Learning Ideas for Mrs Braddock's Happy Hedgehogs
Mrs Braddock's Note from 18/5/20
I hope you are all keeping well and safe! I am really missing seeing you all at school but have loved seeing what so many of you are up to on Tapestry - please keep sharing if you can! Below I will upload a document each week, including lots of activities that you can do at home. Please don't worry if you don't complete everything, they are there as a guide.
I will be updating Spelling Shed with new word lists for you to keep practicing too. I have also added the Homework menu which would have been sent home this term and, as always, feel free to do as many (or few) of these ideas as possible, they are linked to our Summer Term topic which is 'Down at the Bottom of the Garden'.
Our ‘Great Willington Bake Off’ continues!! This week, Mr Braddock is challenging you to make a Cornflake Tart - yummy served with custard! Have a look on Twitter to see who’s had a go at baking already! If you do make anything please send pictures to either Tapestry, tweet them to @WPSDerbyshire or send them to the parent contact email address. We’d love to see what you’ve been up to!
If at any point you are unsure of what you are doing and would like advice or want to show me your work, you can always use the parent.contact@willington.derbyshire.sch.uk email address.
Thinking of you and sending you all my very best wishes,
Mrs. Braddock
