This half term, our art lessons have been a ‘spotlight’ on artist L.S.Lowry. We have learnt about his style of work, the 5 key colours he worked with and how he created mood through his use of matchstick figures. For their final piece, the children sketched then painted their own Lowry inspired industrial landscape and used charcoal to draw in the matchstick figures. We’re all very proud of the final results!
