Week 6

We have enjoyed the traditional story                                                                                Jack and the Beanstalk, this week. 

Continuing our phonics lessons, we will be consolidating all the phonemes and diagraphs we have previously learnt and reading longer words. Please find the information sheet in your child's book bags for further information and support.

 

 

We have also been learning about the Lunar New Year- we particularly enjoyed watching performances, dancing and listening to the Chinese Dragon Dance music. We worked in pairs to mirror dance movements and then in groups to become a dragon!

We have also enjoyed making Chinese dragon masks and lanterns and measuring heights and lengths during maths tasks.
