Hello Marvellous Mighty Mice!
I hope you all had a super week in the lovely, warm weather and maybe took some time on Friday to think about VE 75 Day.
I had an afternoon celebrating in my back garden and because the fences are low, I was able to have some fun dancing to 1940s music with all my neighbours. I ate a few delicious cakes and even made the lemonade from the website.
This week is very exciting.
On Tuesday, it is International Nurses' Day and there will be a celebration- Florence Nightingale's 200th birthday!
So this week, we will be learning about this inspirational lady and why it is important to remember her.
In Science, we have been learning about being healthy and next, we will learn more about keeping clean and why this is especially important.
Please remember that you can choose to do the activities that are right for you and your family. Don’t forget to share a few things with us at... parent.contact@willington.derbyshire.sch.uk.
I love to see all the wonderful things that you have been playing and doing at home!
Missing you all,
Mrs Miller
Extra Note.....I have just updated Spelling Shed with new lists to learn and think I have managed to add specific phonic/spelling lessons to link with words on Spelling Shed in the Literacy Section below.
