Week 3
This week was assessment week and the children all worked really hard to show how much they have learnt in Year 4 - a big well done everyone! Throughout the week, they completed a spelling, grammar, reading and 3 maths assessments.
In shared reading this week, we learnt about Gaudi and mosaics. We then looked into Roman mosaics and researched different styles and techniques before designing and beginning to create our own versions in art.
In maths, we began looking at shapes by understanding, identifying and exploring angles and in science, the children have continued learning about life processes as part of our 'Living Things and Their Habitats' unit.
