Week 4
Our new Science topic is ‘Animals including Humans,’ and this week we began learning about our teeth. We began discussing the concept of digestion and the role of teeth, before looking at how to keep teeth heathy. We then planned and set up an investigation into tooth decay, using eggs as a model of a tooth.
We talked about how to make sure we were conducting a fair test and how to control the variables, while only changing one. Then we made predictions about which liquid will affected the ‘teeth’ then most!
