This half term, we have been enjoying a poem by Judith Viorst called 'If I Were in Charge of the World'. We have been thinking about the shapes of the different verses: things we would cancel, things we would imagine, things that give us negative feelings and are ludicrous and what the leader would be like.
We have been using these shapes to create our own poems called 'If I Were in Charge of the School'. We have enjoyed thinking about the things that we would cancel and invent and what our head teacher and teachers would be like.
