Week 4
Summer Term 2 - Week 4:
This week, the children have begun their bikeability unit of work. They began by learning how to look after their bike and how to begin safely when starting off from the kerb. The children took their first session on the playground where they had to manoeuvre between cones and practise their hand signals. On Friday, the children were taken out around the village by the bikeability team. They were taught to safely ride on the roads, slightly away from the edge of the kerb, and how to turn and manoeuvre safely at junctions.
