Week 1
In English this week, we have been writing character descriptions. We watched the short animation called 'Treasure' and wrote descriptions about the main character. We thought about her feelings, mannerisms as well as what she looked like and the clothes that she wore. Next week, we will develop this further into a narrative.
In maths, we have been learning about ratio. We created scale drawings using our understanding of ratio and our multiplication facts, and know how ratio is used when baking for large groups of people.
We have learnt about the different social classes in history as part of our Victorian work this week. We researched information about the poor, working class, upper class and aristocracy, recognising how they all had very different lives to each other.
