Week 4
Spring Term 1 - Week 4:
We have had yet another busy week in Year 6 this week.
The children have been carrying out some half-termly 'quizzes', and have worked really hard with these during the week. The children have shown great determination with these and have made lots of progress since last half term.
We began a new topic this term called 'Biomes' in geography. We looked at different climatic zones around the world, using our knowledge of mapwork to help us to locate these in different localities. It was lovely to hear so much rich discussion from the children about climate, and their understanding of climate change over the past few years.
We have continued with our art project based around the architect Zaha Hadid. We discussed how we would develop our sketching techniques to progress our artwork. Some examples of our work can be found below. We hope that you like them.
