Whew - another very busy Christmassy week! Between rehearsing for our own Nativity we also go to watch the KS2 children rehearse their carol concert on Monday and we watched the KS1 children rehearse their performance on Wednesday. We also performed a dress rehearsal to the whole school on Friday morning and also had a special guest in the audience - Officer Bob! We also enjoyed our first school Christmas Dinner on Friday and even had crackers at the table to make it even more festive!
In phonics, we have been consolidating all of our learning over the term and also been writing lots of CVC words in our phonics sessions. We have thought about the way the letters are formed and also been making sure they face the right way too!
In maths we continued thinking about one more and one less and played lots of counting games too.
In writing, we have enjoyed writing Christmas cards to our friends and thought carefully about how to spell their names.
