Week 5

Children's Mental Health Week


The Year 5 and Year 6 children, have enjoyed working together collaboratively, to promote the important issue of 'Children's Mental Health Week.' 

Most importantly, they discussed that it is perfectly normal to experience times of worry and anxiety. They then thought carefully about ways to help during times of worry and to improve their state of mental health. 

The children worked together excellently, using iPads, to create short films, advising others of ways to relax and improve their mental health.

We also enjoyed watching a live lesson with NHS doctor, Dr Emily MacDonagh, talking about her new book, 'Healthy Mind, Happy You.'


This prompted and encouraged some important conversations in the classroom.
