Week 7
This week we continued our geography learning on ‘Europe’. We started by recapping last week and then learnt about why countries have time differences. Time zones are separated by imaginary lines called meridians which run from the North Pole to the South Pole. We also learned about the Prime Meridian and how it runs through Greenwich in London. We then got the atlases out and chose countries and enjoyed finding out how many hours in front of behind us they were!
