This week, has been an assessment week so the children have worked very hard completing on the computers, a number of maths, reading and spelling assessments.
We have also continued to learn about the Ancient Greeks and how this civilisation has had an impact on our lives today.
We learnt about the Ancient Greek alphabet and written language, Ancient Greek theatre and plays, and then we compared the lives of people in Athens to those in Sparta. We have looked closely at Ancient Greek pottery and made sketches of patterns on different Greek pots, and following this we designed our own pot in an Ancient Greek style.
