Week 4
In English, we've been writing effective sentences for a science fiction narrative based on 'The Iron Man' by Ted Hughes. We have been loving the first part of the story and have been working hard to develop our writing skills by using different types of figurative language, such as similes, personification and onomatopoeia. This week, we looked at how a clause can be used within a main clause by using commas - with helpers, we looked at what happens when punctuation isn't used and if we put the clause in a different place.
