Below is the web link to the Oxford Owl site.

OUP books form the majority of our reading scheme book and you can access free e-books to continue reading from the appropriate stage or choose books by age. There is also lots of parental support and advice on Oxford Owl for reading. 

I thought everyone may enjoy reading 'Pirate Poems' (Stage 11) in the 7-9 year old section, as this would link to the Columbus work I set for the children, last week.

Writing

I have added the above resources so that you can write a diary extract based on imagining you were at a VE Day party celebrating 75 years ago or you can write about your day celebrating now. You can also use the writing sheets to write a report about your knowledge of VE Day.
