Week 6
In maths this week, we have been learning about measurements (mm, cm and m) and enjoyed working out the perimeter of simple 2D shapes. In English, we have been using our knowledge of volcanoes to write our own non-chronological reports and have found out about the Japanese artist, Katsushika Hokusai. We have used inks and have begun to create our own versions of his woodblock print ‘The Great Wave off Kanazawa’ which depicts the volcano Mount Fuji in the distance.
