History- Columbus

We had found out quite a bit about Neil Armstrong and the moon landing, before we left school but nothing about Christopher Columbus. So this week, I would like you to do some research and learn about who Columbus is and why he is famous.  

When you have watched the bbc presentation and looked at the powerpoint 'Who was Christopher Columbus?' there are a few extra information sheets and lined paper to write your own factual information about Columbus, as well as a sequencing timeline activity to complete. 

Then try out the BBC game- Pirate Bunnies-World Adventure. I really liked the Compass Coin Challenge!
